Membership

Club membership is open to all dodgeball clubs that meet the minimum requirements. All teams competing in British Dodgeball leagues must belong to a British Dodgeball member club for the current season, which runs from 1st September each year. Each member club forms part of a wider British Dodgeball team that works together to support the development of dodgeball on a local, regional and national level.

Club membership costs £100 for the season and comes with the following benefits:

How To Sign Up

BECOMING THE ADMINISTRATOR FOR AN EXISTING CLUB:

If you are a new club administrator for an existing club, you will need to create a Just Go account, contact us via hello@britishdodgeball.com in order for us to grant you club administration access.

SETTING UP A NEW MEMBER CLUB:

If you are setting up a brand new community club as a member, please:

1. Complete the following form in order for us to set you up on the system.
2. Create your own Just Go account and select your club, school, college or university as your club on sign in.
3. Once you have completed the form and set up your own Just Go account a member of our team will email to let you know you now have admin access.
4. Proceed to purchase your club membership via the club affiliation option in the menu.

University Club Membership is compulsory for all university dodgeball clubs that compete in British Dodgeball and/or BUCS dodgeball leagues and events. All university teams competing in British Dodgeball and/or BUCS leagues must belong to a British Dodgeball university member club for the current season. The season runs from 1st September each year.

University club membership costs £100 for the season and comes with the following benefits:

• Eligibility to enter teams into BUCS dodgeball leagues

Primary School Membership is a great opportunity to affiliate to British Dodgeball and access some fantastic benefits that will ensure your school is playing dodgeball correctly and with the correct equipment.

Primary School membership costs £20 for the season and comes with the following benefits:

• 50% discount on the British Dodgeball Introduction to Officiating Dodgeball online course
• 50% discount on the British Dodgeball Introduction to School Dodgeball online course

Secondary School Membership is a great opportunity to affiliate to British Dodgeball and access some fantastic benefits that will ensure your school is playing dodgeball correctly and with the correct equipment.

Benefits

Secondary School membership costs £35 for the season and comes with the following benefits:

• 50% discount on the British Dodgeball Introduction to Officiating Dodgeball online course
• 50% discount on the British Dodgeball Introduction to School Dodgeball online course
• 5 x size 2 cloth dodgeballs for your school

We offer a range of individual memberships to those wishing to support dodgeball & our work within the UK.

To sign up for all of these membership types, please create a JustGo account, and purchase the relevant membership type on the ‘Membership’ tab.

 

ADULT PLAYING MEMBERSHIP

British Dodgeball Adult Player Membership is compulsory for all players competing in adult British Dodgeball Leagues and Events. This includes juniors over the age of 14 competing in adult leagues and events. Your membership fee helps to protect and grow the sport of dodgeball across the UK. Last season your membership fees helped to support us to fund 15 new dodgeball clubs and 2 new development officers in the UK. This membership costs £15 annually and benefits include:

• Discounts on British Dodgeball Official Merchandise
• Become a voting member of British Dodgeball
• Access to participate in British Dodgeball Leagues and Events
• Amateur Sports Personal Accident Insurance from Arc Legal – Visit the British Dodgeball Insurance Centre here.

 

UNIVERSITY PLAYING MEMBERSHIP

British Dodgeball University Player Membership is compulsory for all players competing in BUCS Leagues. If you are also competing in British Dodgeball League & Events you will need to purchase British Dodgeball Adult Player Membership. University Player Membership is FREE and comes with the following benefits:

• Access to participate in BUCS dodgeball leagues
• Access to the British Dodgeball Higher Education Dodgeball Activator (HEDA) scheme.
• Amateur Sports Personal Accident Insurance from Arc Legal
• Amateur Sports Personal Accident Insurance from Arc Legal – Visit the British Dodgeball Insurance Centre here.

JUNIOR PLAYING MEMBERSHIP

British Dodgeball Junior Player Membership is open to all juniors that play dodgeball. Whether this is with your school, your club or just socially with friends. This is an optional membership which helps to protect and grow the sport of dodgeball across the UK. Last season your membership fees helped to support us to fund 15 new dodgeball clubs and 2 new development officers in the UK. This membership costs £10 and benefits include:

• Welcome pack and exclusive gifts shipped to you

Please note that junior players over the age of 14 competing in adult leagues and events must purchase ADULT PLAYING MEMBERSHIP.

 

COACH MEMBERSHIP

Coach membership includes public liability insurance when delivering dodgeball-based activity in a range of settings (presuming the person in question meets the minimum deployment requirements). This membership is open to all, although we recommend already being a Level 1 British Dodgeball coach (or completing the course as soon as possible after signup) in order to get the most out of the benefits this membership confers. This membership type costs £20 and includes the following benefits:

• 50% discount Level 1 & Level 2 Award in Coaching Dodgeball
• 30% discount Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Dodgeball

Supporters membership aimed at Volunteers, Parents and other Supporters of the game. Your membership fee helps to protect and grow the sport of dodgeball across the UK. Last season your membership fees helped to support us to fund 15 new dodgeball clubs and 2 new development officers in the UK. This membership type costs £10 and benefits include:

• Discounts on British Dodgeball Official Merchandise
• Regular updates on how your money is helping to grow the sport of dodgeball

 

PLAYING REGISTRATION

Playing Registration is necessary for:

• Junior players;
• New players competing for the first time in a British Dodgeball event that do not already hold Adult or Junior Playing Membership.

To register on the system, players must create a JustGo account and then select their club from the ‘My Clubs’ tab on the right side of their profile. Parents can do this for junior players.
