Opens and Leagues – Adults

Our Adult Dodgeball Opens & Leagues offer has something for everyone. Whether you are an experienced player playing at the highest level in club dodgeball or a new player or team giving dodgeball a go for the first time.

At British Dodgeball we host National, Regional and Mixed league systems throughout the United Kingdom for adult community clubs. Our leagues provide a fantastic opportunity for dodgeballers of all abilities to compete on a regular basis at a level that is suited to them.

We also provide open competitions of varying sizes and disciplines that welcome teams from the UK and around the world.

Our full 2021/22 calendar will become available soon with our first open events going live for entry from this Friday 3rd September.

To participate in any of our leagues, your club will need a valid British Dodgeball Club Membership!

If you are interested in an open competition in a specific region of the UK that isn’t on this list please get in touch via [email protected] Where events are still TBC we hope to finalise these ASAP, some facilities still have staff members on furlough or just returning to work.

The British Dodgeball Foam Open Series is a new set of events for the 2021/22 season that hopes to provide opportunity for those players wishing to play foam dodgeball.

There will be two sets of series, both of which consist of 3 events and trophies and medals will be provided to the winners of each series as well as medals to the runners up and 3rd placed team.

Specific Foam Open Series Regulations:

  • Each series consists of 3 events.
  • In order to enter, teams must belong to and represent a British Dodgeball member club.
  • Teams do not need to enter all events in the series in order to compete.
  • Players can represent only one club in each series of 3 events.
  • As per regulations around open competitions, players are not required to represent their primary or secondary club.
  • There will be a maximum of 12 entries per event.
  • There is only one category at each event.
  • All teams must start each set with at least 2 male or 2 female players on court.
  • Teams will be awarded ranking points based on their final position at each event in the series.
  • Points will be awarded as follows: 1st = 15pts, 2nd = 12pts, 3rd = 10pts, 4th = 9pts, 5th = 8pts, 6th = 7pts, 7th = 6pts, 8th = 5pts, 9th = 4pts, 10th = 3pts, 11th = 2pts, 12th = 1pt
