This course gives an introduction to officiating dodgeball, covering the rules and sporting code used, how to make fast decisions and communicate effectively, and refereeing safe matches. Ideal for SGO’s, anyone refereeing a new age category & leaders volunteering at interschool competitions.

This should be particularly useful for:

  • SGO’s
  • Referees officiating a new age category
  • Anyone organising/officiating dodgeball competitions
  • Intra- and inter-school competition referees (e.g. school games referees, school sport partnership event assistants)

Course Length:

60 – 90 minutes

Course Assessment:

To pass and earn the certificate, you need to reach 100% on the progress bar. You can do this by completing each page and passing the final quiz with a score of 70% or more. The final quiz is located at the bottom of the contents below and can be re-taken as many times as you need.

Proof of Completion:

Once you’ve reached 100%, you’ll be able to access, download and print a certificate from this page.
